A masked year

[Past Event] From February to March 2021, some students studying GraphicDesign and Communication in the high school Setificio Paolo Carcano (5^G2 and 5^G3 classes) got involved in a photographic project in collaboration with Gin Angri, an important photoreporter from Como.
The main goal of the project was to represent world and school during the Covid-19 pandemic. The students met the photographer several times; at first in taught classes about the history of photography and photographic techniques and then in photoshoot experiences. They have immortalized the totally empty school during the red zone time andthe same half-empty location in the period of orange zone.
At last the students carefully chose the pictures to exhibit and they decided to print them in black and white, like most of Gin Angri's photos.
A Masked Year is a creative project to show the Covid-19 pandemic through different eyes. It's an evocative journey among students' and teachers' emotions. The emotions of all of us.

The temporary exhibition is open from 13th August to 26th September, Thursday to Sunday, 3 - 7 p.m.
