Accessibility

the Como Silk Museum with the resources under the PNRR, European Union - NextGenerationEU "Removal of physical and cognitive barriers in museums, libraries and archives to allow greater access and participation in culture in private museums and places of culture", has made structural changes to the website in order to improve accessibility for people with sensory disabilities, integrating a new section Virtual Tour for the simulation of the visit to the Museum in 3D, implementing functions for site navigation by disabled subjects and inserting all alternative contents for audio reading by the visually impaired public.

Visually impaired users can use their Screen Reader to listen to the contents of web pages.
The methods of using the Screen Reader vary based on the operating system, software used and the user's personal settings; refer to the guide of the software in use to use the navigation commands necessary to move between the contents and to take advantage of all the features implemented on the site.

This website was created according to the guidelines and accessibility specifications provided by AGID - Agency for Digital Italy.

We are constantly looking for improvements in physical and virtual accessibility to the museum,
feel free to send us suggestions and/or proposals by writing to: info@museosetacomo.com
