A silkworm as a friend

A meeting for children wishing to become silkworm breeder and snack under the mulberry tree!

Saturday May 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the the Silk Museum of Como in via Castelnuovo, 9.

Children and relatives shall gather in the room dedicated to Giannino Brenna, in order to listen a story-experience in which the small secrets of the silkworm will be revealed. In the room there are many silkworms preparing their cocoon in these days.

The initiative is carried out thanks to Cariplo and the Social Cooperative Questa Generazione.

In addition since last weekend th Museum offers opening hours also on Saturday and Sunday  from 10 am to 6 pm.

On May Sunday 27th the Museum will be closed in the morning for a private event until 2 p.m.

Regular opening to the public from 2 to 6 p.m.
