On the agenda, the anthological exhibition rendering homage to a great friend and artist, Luigi Cerati, much appreciated for his enthusiasm and joy.

His relation to the Educational Silk Museum was born by using the printing blocks, which are on display at the Museum seat and kept in its archives, to create a number of frottage on silk fabrics rich in flowers and abstract patterns.

The exhibition traces a fascinating and original production made of unforgettable pictorial and sculptural works originated from the every-day experience allowing Cerati to use all sorts of materials and shapes combined in an endless variety of colours.

The Museum would like to thank both the Cerati family - and all the people that met Luigi Cerati and had the chance to appreciate his activity - for their cooperation and support.

The exhibition will be on display at the Museum from 20th May to 29th July 2011 at via Castelnuovo 9 in Como
Opening time: from Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
