I 150 ANNI DELL'UNITA' D'ITALIA 1861-2011. STORIA E MEMORIA IN TERRA LARIANA E LOMBARDA

From 16th March to 29th April 2011, the Educational Silk Museum is hosting the new edition of the Bobbin lace Exhibition, whose title is “I 150 anni  dell’Unità d’Italia 1861-2011” Storia e memoria in terra lariana e lombarda.

The Museum has been organizing many events revolving around the art of Lace for many years in order to preserve and spread this precious work of art to an ever-increasing audience.

Bobbin lace Schools, Associations and Groups from Lombardy are invited to send their inscription and works by 1st March 2011.

In addition to the contemporary section (“Contemporanea”) dedicated to the Exhibition, there is also the special section “Concorso” showing both winning and participating works of the “4th European Competition for a bobbin lace - 2011”.
