Award ceremony and exhibition: '3rd European Competition for a Bobbin Lace'

The award ceremony is taking place on 19th March at 5.00 pm; both the winner and the participating works will be on display until 5th April 2009. In particular, they were selected and examined by an International Jury, whose President was Madame Claudette Bouvot from France.
The theme of the competition, whose conditions were translated into 5 languages and delivered to bobbin lace schools, cultural associations and museums in the EU and Switzerland, is a printing block belonging to the Museum collection.
