OPENING FRIDAY NIGHT

The Museum open its doors to the numerous tourists and citizens from Como every Friday night until the 26th of September with a guided tour starting at 9.30 p.m.

A coach will collect anyone who is interested at 8.45 p.m. at the Hotel Regina Olga in Cernobbio and at 9.00 p.m. in front of the Hotel Barchetta in Piazza Cavour, Como; the journey back on the coach is set for 10.30 p.m.

The price of the ticket (€ 10.00) includes the transport to and from the Museum and the guided tour in English. 

With the Unindustria’s support, some evocative corners have been set up to promote the initiative: these corners would like to remind part of the precious heritage of the Museum, which includes not only objects on display, but also a few hidden treasures: textile machineries, various garments from different eras and some sewing machines of recent acquisition.

The initiative  aims to highlight art and tradition that have made the fortune of Como and that still today help maintaining the high reputation of the town in Italy and everywhere in the world.
